And in Norway the police had to be told to quit strip searches, "squat and cough", searching homes, and other invasive practices just for catching someone with a joint. They have never been allowed to use means so disproportional

Data structures and algorithms IS computer science. The other things you mention are on top of that again. IMO. But I know CS now is apparently not what it was in the 90's and 00's

Yeah until I got balanced jack-to-XLRs for the Focusrite to the monitors, the cables were insanely affected by EMI from my GPU. Whenever it did more than move windows around (i.e. starting a game, playing a video) it noised out like crazy.

If you know you have to recompress and want to reduce unneccessary artifacts, you do. But beware that uncompressed video in 8 bpc (not HDR) 1080p @ 30 fps is 1,5 Gbps so you'll need 1,3 TB to store your 2-hour capture :)

Well a 1080p stream at 30 fps would be 1,5 Gbit/s -- a little outside the spec of most people's internet tubes. And 4K UHD at 30 fps would be around 5 or 6 gigabit. It helps to capture the Netflix stream uncompressed to remove the

Well if you have the Find My Device functionality enabled, not being able to turn off Bluetooth (and WiFi) is a good thing, since a thief cannot disable location deriving and reporting features by turning them off.
