Have you ever tried to model a sailboat hull in AutoCAD, SketchUp? I remember trying out all the"new" cad software in the 80/90's, it was impossible. I still think it extremely difficult. What you can do by hand is easy,

There are a lot of issues with the leaded replacement gasolines. Lead was at least heavy, and "fell" close to it's point of use. The BTEX components added to gasoline after removing the lead, are carcinogenic. They are also v

Bravo. As usual, Ciechanowski makes extremely easy to understand, graphical expressions of complex ideas. Highly recommend this site and his other topics.

I'm wondering about Italy. They have an established industrial base. They manufacture a surprising amount of high tech, but don't brag about it like Germany. Many good European neighbours to provide a broad range of skilled worker

An excellent source for USA/Philippine history, and other history is Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcasts. This one in particular for that topic: https://www.dancarlin.com/product/hardcore-history-49-the-am.

This is a great article. So much relevant commentary not just about airports, but also many facets of North American Life. One example: where are they local diners? Airports, truck stops, malls, and suburbia. We are losing local food with c

Yes. We have the drops also. But they are happening less, and for only a blink. In the worst case, we experience a freeze frame. Most of the time can barely see the freeze.
