The biggest problem we faced, migrating a couple of months ago, was the discovery that you cannot duplicate an email to a folder, you can only move the original. The means, for example, you can't have a shared folder for the submission

My incredibly unsophisticated, but surprisingly effective approach, is to share by email with myself (e.g. mail to myname+bookmark@mydomain.com). Mail rules can then file them, I can add any relevant notes or hashtags to the mail body at th

You do not have to remove the battery to disconnect it - the battery plugs in to the motherboard, and can be unplugged with a gentle tug. The battery itself can remain in-situ.

I lost four to five years worth of data, the database just vanished. The backups I had were useless (some sort of systemic corruption?). Having been badly burnt, I can’t go back, but I’ve yet to find a tools that matches my workflow as well

You’re in luck! There are a number of USB Lenovo thinkpad keyboards with track points, and sometimes trackpads in full and ten key-less formats. (I believe it’s also fairly straightforward to convert a ‘replacement’ x220/x230 keyboard

Yesterday I had exactly the same thoughts: I had to RESTART a windows PC in order to print a word document because the driver refused to recognise that there was actually paper in the printer afterall. I'd be ashamed to ship stuff with

I'd love to setup a small scale network for personal use, but the elephant in the room is licensing.... Is it actually possible to formally license a DIY LTE network? (Or AMPS, 2G, 3G). In the UK, for example it is possible to get exp

I have an RM1 and it's pretty good, it's a one trick pony and does that trick (paper notebook replacement) well. The only issue I have is discovery/searching of old notes. If ReMarkable would add wiki or roam style linking, i

DIY handwriting recognition is actually really easy using Microsofts SaaS offerings. The results are astonishingly good too - it makes mincemeat of my awful handwriting.

I sympathise with the OP, but have to take issue with the stereotyping of white women. It is just as wrong as the other, more common, forms of casual racism.

Playing with the bangle.js espruino watch has been great fun. Nice hardware (much nicer than the esp32 based lilygo), and there's a coolness factor in programming your own watch to work exactly as you please.

The problem I have is not with the model, but with the fact it is so difficult to cancel the standing charge. If it could be done from the web UI, and/or there was an interlinked pop-up when zero droplets are deployed, fine.
