Perhaps you should chat with Alan Cox? IIRC, he was on 28k dialup (over a couple of lines) whilst the more metropolitan of us were on ISDN. Adjust your workflow to your environment.

Given that you can't share the unique details of your use case, what could have been an interesting discussion regarding design tradeoffs is moot. (And I would politely ask that you don't make assumptions about what I might or m

Are your clients set to use the AppleTV as a gateway? That's a fundamental requirement to ensure the packets your devices send in reply get passed back to the tailscale network.

I offer this feedback in a constructive vein, as the mistakes you have made are pretty common. Bottom line: This kind of launch/landing page is a real turn off for me, your prospective customer. - There's no screenshots. - No demo

I wonder if these are rebadged/white labelled NReal glasses? They are certainly physically very similar and the nreal glasses work exactly the same way USB-C wise.

I worked at Psion during the Psion 3 era (and then later at Symbian). Hands down the best company I have ever worked for, and such an exciting time. Seeing the software one wrote in the hands of strangers in the street and on the shelves in

Very easy to track... radio direction finding for a static source, even operating at low power output, is a solved problem. Adding a GSM uplink provides zero annonymity because you still need to connect via IP, which can ultimately be unpic

Re. "disconnected apps": we need a "me-bus (tm)". Any events that relate to "me" should be published, and whatever apps I choose should be able to consume those events. Utilities, banks, home automation... Perh

I think the smart move here would be to sell the platform, not the service. i.e. allow end-users to deploy your orchestration tools to their own Hetzner tin, and pay you for support. With source escrow or similar, that sidesteps the questio

You want 2 or more off CH9350 - HID mouse/keyboard to serial adapters - they are designed for exactly your application. Wire back-to-back and piggyback an ESP of your choice on the serial ports to eavesdrop/intercept/augment.

Isn't the obvious fix to change suppliers? Google does not have a monopoly on your domain. A quick search through historical hacker news articles will turn up dozens of tried and tested alternatives to Workspaces. (e.g. Fastmail)

Looks very promising from the landing page... but the one click gitpod instance is localised in a language that I don't speak. (Mandarin? Thai?). Is there English language support available, and if so, how does one turn it on?
