There’s a vaccine that has an effective rate of well over 99.9% and is free for everyone in America. The “continued spread of a deadly disease” is among those who choose not to vaccinate. The vast majority of people getting seriously ill an

Power to tax is the power to destroy. The power to exclude is the power to coerce. Society is coercing people into taking the vaccine by requiring it for any activities outside the home. Want to go to the grocery store? Get a vaccine or wea

Only 128MB of RAM? What happens when you try to GC a huge repo? This must mean only the non-git requirements. Under the covers either libgit2 or the git executable are being used, and those will use many resources depending on the operation

There’s just a lack of supply for the work at hand. Someday it might slow down and salaries will lower, but for now that is just a priority mechanism that ensures the highest rewarding businesses can acquire workers first.

Facebook and other social media groups should not be allowed to automate moderation of their platforms. All content should be inspected by a human, just like the underwear I’m wearing. All users that sign up should be verified to be adults

Makes no rational sense. The unvaccinated choose to be unvaccinated. You can walk into any Walgreens and get vaccinated for free. The vaccines have over 99% efficacy. Over 99% of new infections are unvaccinated people. Vast majority of vacc

As a result of COVID-19, Americans were forced to wear underwear on their faces, close down businesses until bankrupt, and were restricted from places of worship. Additionally, the end of COVID introduced a new class system of who is vaccin

The press should also commit to not naming and showing the face of mass murderers to prevent glorifying their crimes and encouraging copy cats.

Funny, I think the same thing happened to teachers despite the fact that they cannot realistically have a remote option. Teachers unions have been holding out for better pay and benefits while holding in-school services hostage.

I’m also surprised how many people bragged about jumping ahead in line when elderly people with much higher mortality rates were still waiting for theirs. At least keep it to yourself.

That’s really sad about your friend, but you’re using one anecdotal case to scare people about covid. Young fit people have died from the flu before. If we’re going to make big decisions, they need to be rational ones based on data, not emo

And what conspiracy theory is that? Are you suggesting that the lab leak is a conspiracy theory? Until it is discredited through contradictory evidence, it is still a plausible theory.

It’s a short bed with large cab. Meant for occasional light hauling, not for everyday usage. The Ridgeline is more car/SUV than truck. Refined for city driving and light duty.

Bed is usually empty, but yea that’s a concern when you’re hauling on a long trip. The trunk also contains the spare tire, so it’s hard to access the spare tire when hauling stuff.

Re autopilot: I want an electric truck, but there’s no way in hell I’m trusting my life to Bay Area tech. I want to save money on gas and be more eco friendly. My truck driving for me is not a want until the tech is perfected.

Then grandma can get the vaccine. Why is this still an issue? Everyone in the US that wanted a vaccine, got it. Only a tiny portion of people are incapable of receiving it. The death toll dropped immediately. We don’t need herd immunity sin

So what? The chance of getting severe reactions from the actual virus is much lower for kids. Why would you make your children take something that is riskier than the thing it protects against?

That depends on your priorities. Australia got it right if your top priority is safety. It came at a cost. Residents were not permitted to move freely or assemble freely. This is not an option in the US. So I’ll ask a follow up: who did it

Facebook knows that only tech savvy users know how to dig into opt-out settings like that. When Apple makes it an opt-in, it has a huge opportunity to reduce Facebook revenue since it requires extra effort from every user to enable.
