Seems like the responses ignore that fact that it’s not illegal to have a monopoly. It’s illegal to unfairly use your monopoly to prevent competition. That’s what this is about.

Several big issues with swap stations: - charging allows for parallel charging while a swap station would allow for 1 vehicle to be swapped, so you could have a line of cars waiting to swap that would take just long or longer than charging

Existing Teslas can accept various voltage for charging. Obviously, the lower the longer to charge. Pretty sure the Tesla Semi CAN charge at up to 1000V, but doesn’t require it, while the competitors CANNOT charge at 1000V.

No FSD, they are paying $42k per Model 3 which is “nicely appointed” not base models. FSD would add $10k per vehicle. They can always buy FSD later (although price is expected to keep going up). But presumably they are locked to the $42k

Part of the safety score is based on g forces. So if you do a smooth stop by braking ahead of the stop, you’ll have less g forces. If you slam on your brakes, well, you’ll have a lower score due to higher g forces.
