Additionally someone has to finally say "back off" to Oil Industry which is lobbing hard against any Nuclear Power advancements.. I think this is the biggest issue. (ALMR tests performed in USA already confirmed what you asked for

Building new reactors is costly and you need public opinion to agree to that. Unfortunately when someone proposes building new kinds of reactors some asshole backed by "Oil Corp Co." runs ahead screaming "Chernobyl Fukushima!

I can agree to "noone does that" but 100 000 years nuclear waste is not true. ALMR reactors would use that waste to produce short half-live waste which radiation can even stop in the matter of hours... Thats what Chinese invest in

This is simply untrue. We are able to build ALMR reactors that not only can work using nuclear waste as a fuel but also are "impossible" to blow up or cause disaster because of coolant properties. Source: https://en.m.w

Its depressing that people voting for "green" parties are actually supporting more pollution. Nuclear power is the only way to be honest.

Like I say we have to force law makers hard to punish polluting companies to the extreme where its unprofitable to pollute. Pretty much whole coal&oil industry would have to be nuked, thats why its SO HARD to do anything about it. Corpo

I would call that a lost battle because you need like 1% of all content to break the laws similar to the ones EU recently passed to still heavily fine them.

If Im not mistaken, youtube contentid filtering is not working as good as Google hoped it will. People find more and more backdors or workarounds for it. Google hires like thousends of editors to watch youtube content and filter out stuff.

Few of design patterns work exactly like that: forward to another method. Evolving that API afterwords is not a lot of hassle. I really fail to see the argument here..

I would argue whether DRY enforces 3rd party libraries usage. "Yourself" touches the code you wrote, noone asks you to use already written solutions.

A question, coz Im not sure I follow. How is type system (as described by wiki) supposed to test domain or functionality? Or are you talking here about completely different type system ?

Value of dollar now in comparison to 70s and 80s decreased. We also earn now around 30% less than our parents/grandparents and our money is worth less. And as dollar value influences pretty much whole world, it can be applied the same

What a great summary. Tho I think the part about issues our society faces is a lot bigger than those few examples. Educated people have more than ever reasons to be depressed now: - pollution - economic stagnation - inflation - antibiotics

When you look closely at developed countries, you will see that they actually cut funds for healthcare and education. Healthy and educated ppl are too hard to manipulate..
