Some ads are CPM you know... eg aim is to get exposure / mindshare rather than traffic.

Youtube vids are embedded everywhere. I'd bet a load of people view youtube vids, that may not use anything else 'google'. I don't know if counting 'embeds' makes much sense though.

It's fun, similar to the movie ad that appeared on justin.tv a few years ago as a mock broadcasters channel. (I think the channel showed them 'live' and then some disaster happened or something). However, doesn't make me want to go see some
