Sad story. However, his investing strategy (or lack of investing strategy) has nothing to do with Robinhood. And it is a rather bold statement that he does not believe in investing in Indexes. Surely that would have been a better strategy,

Agreed 100%, many companies never really went remote. They tried to replicate f2f office work, just not in an actual building.
