What about the privacy aspects? They said nothing about whether or not they retain any of your data, store it permanently or use it to train their LLMs going forward.

How long until somebody comes up with another reCAPTCHA type system that forces users to click on images to identify them but that data is then used to verify training data for LLMs? (assuming this isn't happening already)

So what sort of rewards do we get for reporting bots? I know a particular web host that uses a chat bot that was giving me outrageously bad answers.

There are A LOT of people that are extremely anti-AI that I speak to frequently. One thing you didn't mention in your article is the power consumption used by AI and that's a very valid concern as well. I think many people are ver

Firstly, they want to dismantle the government piece by piece and sell it off to the highest bidder, privatizing it. Secondly, anything they view as contrary to their world view, despite of (or regardless of) scientific evidence stating oth

Here's a copy of The Official C.I.A. Manual of Trickery and Deception mentioned in the article. It's 179 pages and sounds interesting [1]. [1] https://archive.org/details/cia-manual-trickery-deception-20...

That's the trouble though, isn't it? It costs money to get my head examined. I can talk to ChatGPT for free.

Are the stats from training ChatGPT, Claude or other models public? It would be interesting to see a comparison to them.

I'd be curious if anyone has tried this for Android and what kind of stuff it's checking for. Sideloaded APKs can often contain malicious stuff, but it's nearly impossible to know if it's doing anything suspicious unless

Would DNS logs suffice? You could use service that offers logs of DNS like NextDNS or a Pi-Hole to watch DNS traffic from the device, but you wouldn't know which app sent it and for what purpose.

I wish we could have a service like this on Bluesky. We have an alt text bot, but it's not great and having additional bots that do this would be super helpful.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. They make claums about it being totally free, but everything is in Chinese and you appear to need a Chinese mobile number to register.

This is very cool! Would it be possible to add Bluesky link cards? It passes through this domain to extract the link card and can be very hit and miss on how they show up. https://cardyb.bsky.app/v1/extract?url= https

How in the world would they enforce this? Once AI images become completely imperceptible to real photographs, how can you prove one is real and one is not with any modicum of accuracy to say you violated the bill? It seems like most LLM pro

We already have this on Bluesky. Everyone is basically in bed by 9pm! Why make an entirely new social media network for this and just make it a timed client for ATProto or ActivityPub?
