I follow the BSM-SG model, which also has no dark matter to explain galaxy rotations. Disclaimer: I choose my models after reduction of assumptions and stricter logic is better (Solomonoff Induction). Secondly, I understood when studying ph

Unfortunately my A&H Xone:K2 does not have a 24 bit DAC so I can't really test with equipment and songs I know. I think people who like vinyl more the CD just like the noise floor on top of the music and not that vinyl actually has

Wrong. Many good Lables release 24 bit mastering quality flac releases, better as CD. But, to hear a difference, you really need highest quality equipment and even then, depends on the sound. I hear the different of flac vs mp3 on my Shure

I only buy music on bandcamp these days. Usually 200-300 Euros a month, because I know the artists get most of the share. I really really really must be needy for some song that I go to beatport or some other service. I find it unbearable t

I"m shocked that this is even forbidden in the "land of the free". I was walking home alone from school. In fact, my father once said to me that I basically raised myself on my own.

:) The problem with physics is, that it went into the wrong direction in the last 100 years and as a result, everybody which looks beyond pop science papers knows, that it does not fucking fit. The fine-tuned Universe is a Problem of the mo

From the perspective I gathered through understanding a very beautiful unified theory (not my model) - this is exactly my point. EM waves as we use it are useless for long distance communications. I even doubt that those waves will still be

That is not what I meant. Both are objectively measurable results - of course if you look at critic voices the details in their implementation differ, but in general yes. But there are different ways of implementing something and which one

The fermi paradox bothered me quite a bit, like all paradoxes and they should bother everybody. They are a flag that something does not add up and there must be some sort of wrong assumption somewhere. As most of our combined "knowledg

beta factor is bad. stellerator is better, but still wrong approach to fusion. It really depends on the physical model you use - I don't think in the Standard Model anymore - it's falsified and there are better models out there.

Based on a certain model of fusion based on a theoretical model based on certain assumptions. You know that one falsification is enough to break any model and the standard mode has been falsified over and over again. This means that you can

In fact, we have two fundamental bad/wrong assumptions in both theories and that's why they can never be united without going into mathematical/physical mumbojumbo like strings theory. In fact, humans build unified models tha

it's called the loading factor in this experiment. For 100 pd atoms you need et least 85 D. Best output is ~0.93-.95 and breaks down after wards.

Like many stuff in theoretical physics - hey, most of the physical model is rather unlikely. They not even have a proper arrow of time in the standard model nor can they predict the spectral gap with certainty along a long list of problems.
