We asked Hitwise to run similar data for the US market. The numbers show a marked increase in social media traffic to Apple.com and a drop in search traffic on November 16th, but not enough for the former to surpass the latter. Looking at

When people ask me about "computers" I often remind them that it's the only skill that will allow you to work in just about any industry. Art, hard science, medicine, whatever... If I were a blacksmith in a mediaeval village I would make su

Doesn't have any of the streets by my place in Tokyo. Google's maps of the area show every building and streets that are no wider than a foot path. Confusingly, it also shows tons of streets as dead ends. Two dead ends will almost meet when

We lug around 100,000 retro virus sequences inside us; all told, genetic parasites related to viruses account for more than 40 percent of all human DNA. Our body works hard to silence its viral stowaways by tying up those stretches of DNA

Do you have any plans for doing form building capability in backbone? I was trying backbone out and I found that to be a part that I would like to have in there. I was trying to figure out the best way to get it done. I'm thinking something

Sqlite is often used as a quick and dirty database by projects that don't want to burden their developers with the setup overhead of mysql or postgres. It's a tiny, rock-solid executable that stores data in a single binary file and supports

You seem to be implying that there is no such thing as a bad attempt at a trade. This would probably be true if all trades were rational but I am saying that the very act of asking for a trade biases it to going through, even if it is a bad

I commented before going to bed (I'm on tokyo time) so I missed a lot of the developing commentary here. As I said, I think this could be useful to overcome a specific personality flaw. I think a lot of us here can probably identify with gr

I could see this as being useful for the horribly timid, but it would be annoying if it was employed by the general population. There is the underlying idea that if you aren't being rejected, then you aren't asking for enough. I know plenty

Even better than this article is the author's call in the comments to stop using "fag" and "faggot" and replace it with "sag" and "saget"; references to the Full House character. "You're such a saget" I could get used to that.

Python can be used to write procedural, functional or OOP. It's a multi-paradigm language which means it's up to you to give the code the structure you think is best for the problem. For instance wikipedia has an example of the same problem
