Doesn't really fit your 'outside any UI framework' requirement but there is http://reactdesktop.js.org/ Does a pretty good job at mimicking both Windows 10 and Mac OS. If there isn't a CSS framework some

I own an S10+ and I have to say out of the box it is the most ad ridden phone I have ever owned. Absolute joke that they can be charging as much as they are, definitely had buyers remorse a week in. Apple get a lot of flak for expensive har

I mean it's not 100% clear cut like that. Has the person told the boss that it is uncomfortable? They could easily just be oblivious to the problem. Secondly, if it's not mandatory there has to be a point where you decide to do wh

Cypress is pretty good for this. Every command is queued up and sort of deferred. You write tests in a synchronous manner and it has retrryability built in so it will wait for an assertion to be truth before continuing (with a max timeout o

Yeah happens to me too, guess either I'm missing an obvious button or it's slightly broken on some machines (which is to be expected).

That's a bit of an odd comparison to make. Scrollsnapping is a useful feature in many scenarios and as the previous comment mentioned the current way of doing it is hacky. Popups are an entirely different thing but there are legitimate

I'm not sure that makes complete sense. I don't have a degree in CS as I was self taught and actually bothered to follow online courses and read documentation. If I get sick of coding and want to move elsewhere I still have the op

Nice been waiting for something like this. Maybe some ideas can be borrowed from TabletopSimulator eg. Custom cards etc to allow a larger selection of games.

To add to others points I find that safari often lags behind implementing standards features and sometimes straight up implements then wrong. For that reason I make a point of not using it. Also as far as I can see I have to upgrade my OS i

This site is somewhat annoying on mobile, the sign up pop up, the nominated banner that you have to close, the large vote for us icon in the corner, the blue box that cuts into the content as you scroll up and down.

To me it won't matter, if it gets shut down then I'd go to another provider. As long as they have data portability like GDPR specifies then there isn't a problem.

Many reasons why: - Convenience of just going to a site and not installing anything. - Cross platform, if you have a browser most web apps will work. - Being relatively certain that by just visiting a web app you're not going to end up
