I’m from Australia, I really like how we always show the 100g/100ml breakdown of ingredients, not just “serving size”. This lets you easily compare across products with different sizes. See https://www.wholekids.com.au/

In one of the technical videos a Tesla engineer presented, I remember the (paraphrasing) quote that the car has no memory and sees the same intersection for the first time, every time. It sounds intentional, as part of their strategy to not

If OPs experience is anything like mine, they just suck at doing their job. There's often some silly reason its stuck, or it prints wrong, or the colors are off, etc, its really just a super painful experience and I can't believe

I’d enjoy seeing a more creative approach to recommendations for something as big as Netflix. A few suggestions: 1. Review channels by genre 2. Trailer TV - let me leave a “comedy” trailer channel running that shows the trailer and movie ra

If you think about the projects you work on as a consultant, is there a software/SaaS you wish you could be selling to your client to solve one of their problems with paying for?

I'm curious if this can reveal secrets (I realise this was trained in already publicly readable code), what happens if you do "var api_key = " what is the auto-completion?

I feel there are two issues to fix: 1. Docker doing this iptables change out of the box, and 2. MongoDB not having a password set out of the box The life of a developer (and solo dev) means you often have limited time you need to navigate a

I was hoping to see it mentioned that a collaborator can just be given issues permission (no code access), I’m assuming that’s still not possible?

I feel having a built-in graphics card that's poor also results in terrible performance, even if its just desktop use, things just become slow and laggy.

That’s a fair point, I forgot you had to use a token on your end too to make the flow work; thanks for your reply.

Like the local data approach, but was surprised to read for at least the Google Analytics option your OAuth token is routed through Radar services (even if it’s use is then local), which feels a bit of a bummer when the effort was otherwise

You could use the Authy app (that lets you sync between systems too and turn it off after setting it up) which helps with backups — Google Auth won’t export anything. A little less secure but helps defend against losing the keys.

That's really interesting. I wonder whether its because a large load of capacity needs suddenly in unaffected AZs put abnormal stress on things like networking to the whole unaffected AZs. My only experience there is in Azure, when the

I'm surprised these sites don't show a localised time with UTC next to it, even the popular statuspage.io doesn't do this, blows my mind.

Have you clarified why they want this notice? In my experience it’s because if you roll out a new feature (or non-trivial UX change), that can wreck someone’s day and cause internal support issues into the company that uses your product. Co
