He was let go from Twitter the first time for taking to many art and yoga classes and not doing his job. Why they brought him back again is the real mystery.

This article is basically saying: It only affects old people, so we shouldn't care. Many of us have elderly parents and small children and Covid-19 affects both to a much larger degree than the general public. It's also concerning

"SaaS just more popular/lucrative/financially gamable" Piracy definitely killed the ownership model. After Napster and prolific piracy of music for 10+ years, the value of music plummeted to almost nothing. Piracy is cl

I'm going to use the same argument used about copying/pirating proprietary software: They wouldn't have paid for it in the first place, so you can't count it as lost revenue.

I wish my parents had known that when I was writing code on the computer as a kid, it wasn't just 'playing games' and that it would result in a great career.

One of the worst contracts I ever had was for a small company running a SaaS for divorce attorneys to help manage their cases. The main selling point was that it would re-create state forms on the web and allow an attorney to fill them out,

15+ years ago, I was working on my first development job out of college and I noticed that there was a strange process running on my work computer that couldn't be killed. I traced it to a specific port and host and used telnet to conn

My Local Cosco was packed this weekend (US-midwest). I've been there on other weekends and it's not that bad. Many disinfectant-related products were sold out.

There isn't a free market because FDA approval takes at least a decade and hundreds of millions of dollars. The result is only a few companies can actually get a drug to market and without competition, can set the costs.

I wish more people would learn from it: Monopolies are bad if it's a private company or the government. The outcome is still the same: a stalled industry, little to no innovation, and many times, high prices.

I'm not sure why you are equating a single person, who is clearly mentally ill, posting prejudice comments to all prejudice comments as being associated with mental illness. This is the biggest straw man argument I've heard today.
