The loss of photo statistics seems a big one. As far as I can see unless you have an existing pro account and continue to renew, there is no way to get photo statistics. I really think Yahoo should offer a 'spyr' account or something which

Hmm. Making a universal email message have bespoke instructions for a specific mail provider. Call me old fashioned but I don't like that. Infact I still like to read my e-mails in plain text. Also, I dare say, not so useful for the many o

Definitely back of a cigaratte packet. But they're not writing the apps so it's just a front end, website and some discovery code - presumably the infrastructure is cloud managed... Maybe if I'm a little more realistic: 5 developers, 5 sal

This article makes a fair point. Whether AppGratis breaks the guidelines or not - Apple did act in a very unprofessional manner. They could have waited a day or two and given the CEO a right to respond before pulling it. But this is the r

Is it really that simple to raise 12 million dollars of funding - for a company which can be destroyed pretty much overnight by Apple. Do the investors not think about this? The world really has gone mad.

I'm not sure the attitude you've observed is that prevalent - Google is still an extremely attractive employer. But like everything that's been around a while and has become large - people no longer perceive it as being in vogue. Personall

Some of the best developers I have worked with weren't Computer Science or Software Engineering graduates, but had Engineering or Electronics degrees. However, some companies wouldn't hire them because their degrees didn't fit their definit

Bad performance and support only for IE10+ will put these out of consideration for many. I think the real world appeal of these will be limited to say the least.

Terribly biased article = Zero Credibility. Example? "painfully awful reviews of a product no one wants". A quick Google and it's clear this is nonsense. That said I won't be buying a Surface, because I'm perfectly happy with the iPad and i
