Well, that's up to your browser to prevent. It's a cat and mouse game; and I doubt something you can solve be clicking a consent button.

If your commute doesn't suck, it's not bad to go into the office. I feel like offices are getting a bad rap here, when it's not really about them.

If you want to alt-click on any function and instantly get taken to its definition, even in a library, some indexes need to be built. At least I assume. Last time I tried VS Code it wasn’t anywhere near IntelliJ’s capabilities.

Oh, sure. Obsidian just reads from whatever directory you give it, so I set up an encrypted directory with gocryptfs, then mount it decrypted and point Obsidian at that. Sounds like a pain, but I have a separate "vault" (folder) f

Fun! I just moved over to Obsidian because of the simplicity. I love that I can use the local folder just as easily as the full app. Tip for anyone wondering: if you need encryption, gocryptfs works great. Now I just need to wait for Flathu

Nearly all the conversations about the PR have been since the PR? I don't doubt it. I'm saying the green bubbles thing has existed since long before that. Google ticked it up a bit, but come on. Let's not give Google PR too m

And the $200-$300 GPUs are still really good. If you're not doing ML/AI stuff, I think that's still the sweet spot.

I just recently dragged my bin of 100s of CDs from the garage and ripped them all on to a server on my network. I think I may stick with it. It's gotten me buying a lot of physical CDs again, plus a little portable CD rom drive, since

You can't deposit a check or order a cab with a dumb phone either. Might as well put Calyx on something and at least have Firefox and OpenStreetMap.

PopOS has a pretty decent tiling plugin, but it really only is decent. You can absolutely tell that it's bolted on. Windows open, then move and resize, etc. I can't move to it from a real tiler just yet. I get the feeling that the

Plenty of folks use WMs like Sway that don't use GTK or QT and everything is fine. You just pick a theme and it gets passed to GTK and QT apps. I guess if you show decorations, they differ between apps, but it's really not terribl
