Tip for anyone wondering: if you need encryption, gocryptfs works great.
Now I just need to wait for Flathub to update…
- leodriesch 4y agoCould you expand on how you do encryption with gocryptfs?
- pkulak 4y agoOh, sure. Obsidian just reads from whatever directory you give it, so I set up an encrypted directory with gocryptfs, then mount it decrypted and point Obsidian at that. Sounds like a pain, but I have a separate "vault" (folder) for secrets and I don't have to get in to that one very often. But if I did, I could have the folder mount at boot or something.
