What's probably happening here is there are company-selected vacation days being left out of the number. You get to choose 10, but another 10 are picked by the company. I worked as a programmer at a big boring company which did this -

I wonder about the infrastructure change required for electric vehicles. The bay area relies extremely heavily on on-street parking. If everything is to go electric, will there be charging stations every 15 feet along every sidewalk?

They should collect enough up front to make the revocation pre-paid. Refusing to revoke certs results in an unsafe internet and ruins the value of the entire service they are supposed to be providing.
