I know you're attributing lack of motivation and loneliness to lack of romantic success... but it might just be a symptom of a deeper issue. I say that because I can relate a little, I have no issue getting romantic partners, but I get

We use release branches (git) for such cases - mainly because our deployment is based-off release branches, thus gives us flexibility to move a customer to a pre-release or even have then stay at a particular release forever. Bug fixes can

When we started, circa 2003, SaaS wasn’t a thing! Initially I focused on commercial support - we still do it for those who want to self host with someone to blame. That said - there’s no reason not to explore both options from the start.

Great suggestions already given on how to limit your phone use... But I can only imagine that it leaks into other areas of your life. Have you’ve looked into treating the causes you mentioned? Perhaps behavioral therapy.

Great article- I appreciate how pleasant both parties were! Some of us, admittedly, like women with nice ass. I think feet is less creepy if you really think about it. But to each to their own!

Since you recognize it - and it sounds like you’re able to get work... I think you should start a software company! Be a product person - hire people smarter than you to code!

Initially, I was like $20 is not significant- then I realized it’s $20k. That’s a lot of overdue bills without service getting disabled. I would negotiate for reduction based on the fact that you didn’t get any notifications.
