Pretty sure both the Go team, and the rest of us, would love to hear the story on this once you've figured it out. (And hell, some of the Go team would probably like to hear it beforehand, and could help: have you posted on Go-Nuts or

Well, like landr0id says it's not "stable" yet... although it's on release candidate 1, so it's pretty close. Once 1.5 stable comes out it'd be silly to wait for 1.6, 'cause that's 6 months away.

I find the Oculus Rift DK2 with Vorpx (one of several competing pieces of software to play older or not-designed-for-VR games using the Rift) actually kind of spectacular. Elder Scrolls Online works well with it, and the game is an entirely

First time I came across this idea was in Ed DeBono's "DeBono's Thinking Course" which (paraphrasing) said "the sheer physical speed of the clever mind leads it to find an immediate solution. But not necessarily the

The scale of the old GC requires seconds, so the chart with old and new needs to show seconds. The new one doesn't, and shows milliseconds. The title doesn't say that all of GC is solved, just the latency problem, which for most G

Some improvement to the garbage collector was done in the last release, and involved moving much of the runtime to Go. Making the compiler into Go, however, is actually only completed in the 1.5 (development) branch, to be released in... Au
