Strike price is estimated through 409a valuation, which is typically very conservative and considerably lower than the fair market value of the stock, which is frequently less than the evaluation made by investors.

Cassandra is not limited to use cases that need to scale-out, but it also excells at stuff that needs to be always-on, regardless of data size. Sure, you can do many nice things with data in memory or on a midsize USB key, but when your cen

How is it a breaking change? It is pretty straightforward to write an automated tool to convert one syntax into another one.

It is objective measure - it may not be a perfect metric, but definitely objective. If there are more issues relative to the number of programmers this means there are either more bugs, users have more questions, and/or just more featu

Scala has no operator overloading. You cannot blame language on somebody picking bad method names. There are plenty of bad names in Java and Kotlin libraries as well. > an overly complex type system It is only as complex as it has to be

Scala does all the features of Kotlin equally well, not half good. Actually Kotlin inherited a few bad ideas from Scala as well - which Scala already dropped like procedure syntax. And some features like null handling or coroutines in Kotli

Actually Kotlin is just Scala dumbed down by taking out the most powerful and interesting features like higher kinds, implicits, monads or macros. Which makes it just a Java 8 with a bit nicer syntax.

Scala IDE support is bad? What IDE are you using? I find IDE support in IDEA almost on par with that of Java. It is very fast, has accurate error highlighting, very good smart autocomplete, understands advanced Scala features, supports mos

Wait, wat? Are you using bitmap fonts? Scaling of vector fonts in modern desktop systems doesn't work that way. Scaling is done before rasterization, and you would get perfectly sharp edges with 250% scaling.
