I guess I forgot to include the little fact that Reliance is the biggest conglomerate in India and it's owner is India's richest person. Even if Jio had crashed, it would have made a very small dent in Reliance's fortunes. I

Reliance (Jio's parent company) spent years laying down a fiber optic network in the country before they announced Jio. To get subscribers off their current plans they _had_ to provide extraordinarily low prices. When they first launch

Most of the Jio services are free if you are on their SIM card. So no extra cost apart from paying for data.

I'm still surprised how many people here get defensive when it gets pointed out that toilet paper is not the best solution for cleaning up. Everybody should try using a bidet sometime and see the difference for themselves.

It's pretty abundant in developed countries that primarily rely on toilet papers, one would presume.

Yes I understand that. But visiting your Rails app shouldn't bubble up the debugging info to your visitor in production.

This generally happens because config.consider_all_requests_local is set to true in production env. By default it should only be true in development and test.

Absolutely. I'm talking about things that should 404 are actually raising exceptions. E.g. https://feedi.me/popular . I hit this link by mistake but that should return a 404 and not the exception page from Rails.

You should configure your Rails application correctly for production. Right now it seems like it's considering all requests as local and returning the Rails exception page to me.

That's because you bought an industry-specific ETF. So any imbalance in that industry would noticeably affect your holdings in the short period. General advice is to buy diversified ETFs (like the S&P 500 as the OP said) and hold t

You're not forced to use Jekyll. You just get some nice things if you do. As long as you have a pages repo with an index.html in the root, GitHub can serve it for you. How you generate the repo is completely up to you. I have my own cu

The mainstream media (some TV news channels, especially) have been warmongering quite hard in India. I assume it's the same in Pakistan.

I think this is just the usual lack of familiarity that you'll encounter with any language that has any non-C-like syntax. The do...end bits are "blocks" and are the most powerful feature in Ruby, not just because of what the

"equal effort" in your sentence is very important. Effort is rarely equal and life is not a simulated situation like a race. Success is not a one-variable equation that can be solved with "talent".

You don't need talent to be successful. Not every chess player is as talented as Carlsen but there are several thousand chess players making a living as professionals. Using talent as a prerequisite to success in a field is just dishon

It is infinitely better than dry toilet paper. Trust me because like OP I've used both methods and I am never more grossed out than after going through a North American toilet.
