Some quick usability comments after 5 minutes on the site: The first thing you see on the homepage should be a map and list of parks in your area. Don't require a search, triangulate the location via IP or something. Use a map to show what'

The skewed screenshot is kinda weird... why not have that visible and full size? Have it show a rotation of different "best of" images, to make it really apparent what the site does.

$0 per month for my one-hand keyboard layout software, blah. Recently switched from a 'branded' domain to a exact-match domain, looking forward to seeing how that improves my results. Blog + regular content is next on the list. http://www.

Get the concrete stuff right: -Links should be underlined, and a different color. No exceptions. -Get button padding right. (make the entire button clickable, not just the text). -Pick the right verbs for buttons. ("Submit" "Delete" "Copy"

Er, after reading it a second time it's probably intended to be more "This Blog Post's Analytics". The noun/verb issue is easily misread, especially since every other call to action button on that page uses a verb. "Add Comment" "Hide Comme

"Post Analytics" seems like a terrible label for that button. What does that even mean? Especially for the web dev folks that are probably reading that blog... am I POSTing analytics to the site? Sending my analytics to SEOmoz? Why not "Sho

People love to get clever with links. But it just confuses people. Links should be underlined and a different color. If you really want people to know it's a link, make sure that color is blue.

"1366 x 768 resolution" This is where Thinkpad has gone wrong. Business machines should have 3:4 screens. Currently posting from a 5 year old Thinkpad X40, which sports a 1040x768 3:4 display. It's insane that 5 years later the ultra port

Too much text. I have no idea what the site does. You need a nice big verbal call to action button: -"Create an XXXXX" -"Make a YYYYY now" -etc. The things people can do on your site are "Register" and "Sign In." Those aren't things people

My standard go-to comment for 'Show HN' posts is "you need to increase the padding on that button!" Nothing bothers me more than a button you can't click.

What are your thoughts on pricing the game at $.99? Did much thinking go into that, or is $.99 just the de facto price for any successful game?
