I didn't really get the whole "birthday" concept until I studied the pic for a time. They just looked like random numbers to me... because that's not my birthday. Maybe include little explicit "month -->" "day -->" "year -->" la

"Sign Up for Free" is not something I want to do. Not a button I want to click. "Create a Poll" or something like that might be though...

Your "$10 to buy .com!" buttons don't have padding. Despite giving us nice big Call to Action buttons to click... we still have to precisely target the message text itself rather than the button image.

I'm interested in knowing how the "Science is hard. Quartzy is easy." widget at the bottom is working for you. Do people know to click that? I only figured it out after attempting to scroll down in vain several times. Why not just go with a

After the del.icio.us "sunset" fiasco, I would have thought that companies would stop using that stupid term.

Middle click should never ever do fucking anything other than open the link in a new background tab.

This one is interesting: http://testingbenfordslaw.com/most-common-iphone-passcodes I wonder what influence the 'spatial' properties of a number pad password has on this data. For example "5" gets a nice little spike... and "5" is the cen

At least when you click from tab to tab the URL bar changes, that's the important part if you're faking it. The search bar keeps the same query on every tab.

And the saving the search term thing is that way because that's how Google-the-website works. Search for something on google.com, and the Results Page shows that term in the box. The Search Box behavior was just carried over from that.

Love the Chrome-like tab closing behavior. Annoying that a tab has to have focus to get the on-tab "X" though. (EDIT: Only when #tabs > 9 it seems. Otherwise all tabs have the "X".)

Yep, my guess is that it's a failsafe for those "always double-click everything" people like my mother. Taskbar icons, submit buttons, hyperlinks, dock icons, EVERYTHING.

The "search bar keeping your previous search term" issue has to do with the ownership of the search box. It used to be, when tabs were below the search box, that made sense. You'd be using the same one search box no matter which tab you

As "theoatmeal" says: "Use a label tags with these; that way I don't have to be a goddamn marine scout sniper to sharpshoot the tiny little box. It's 2011 and 90% of the websites I use still haven't figured this out." Nice little usability

What's great about "accessibility problems" is that they're usually huge annoyances for everyone else too. Curb cuts are essential for bicyclists, closed captioning at sports bars, etc.

The ridiculously annoying "breathing" sleep light on the front lid. Don't plan on sleeping in the same room as your Mac, your room will be completely dark then brighter than 1000 suns every 30 seconds or so. Repeat all night.

That "Enter Your website URL" field is really annoying. The easiest way to change the default " http://www.example.com to your website's URL would normally be to double click the "example" and type your address, leaving the boilerplate " h
