They already have, unfortunately most devs still don't target GPU and NPUs available on their mobile devices. Webviews are naturally not the way to handle them.

They also irritated plenty of devs, who aren't shelling out 3500 for what is in practical purposes a toy device, and then having Apple congratulate themselves the devs are the ones that should be happy they are allowed to play on Apple

There has been demand for Mac at PC prices since the Mac Classic was announced to the world. The first time around they almost went broke because people no longer were paying Apple tax, and they did not had any other product to save them. N

Only in North America market, and a few similar economies, as many countries buying Apple hardware is only for a select few on top tier society levels. Everyone else keeps buying PCs as always, even more so that Apple doesn't have any

Except the point that Zig should do better than Object Pascal, Modula-2, with solutions already available on Insure++ and friends for use after free, 30 years ago.

Most of these "insanely fast" projects kind of feel like people rediscovering compiled languages after the scripting languages dark ages. Insanely fast was making 8 bit games possible at all.

Yeah, however if Intel and AMD actually delivered a working 2.0 with proper support for C++ and Fortran, maybe the OpenCL 3.0 back to 1.0 reboot would not have been needed. Likewise SYSCL although built on top of OpenCL 3.0 primitives, is m
