Redefining cloud computing to mean "the internet" will destroy it. Cloud computing is not about accessing services over the web. It's about hardware infrastructure that can scale automatically, or at least programmatically, without having

This is a really really good site. For many reasons, first, it's works very well for FREE. I use it all the time. The way it work is, you post your link and then remote browsers get the url and shortly thereafter, they take a full length s

Feel this groove: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTBDsGzm1IU My gf sent it to me a while back. It's a Swollen Members song called "Deep End" talking about rappers who like to work at night cuz "that's when the tracks come out right..."

Well, I think about 75% of mutual funds underperform market index funds that charge fractions of the fees. And those are managed by pros with years and years of training and experience. It's a tough world for the individual. Yes, the risk

Definitely go straight for the debt, that's sure money! I agree with you, definitely on the same page. I wish I could say more right now, but I gotta run. Anyway, point being, education first. Yes, go build a software system to help you m

Oh, it's a game all right. The points are dollars. You want to make as many dollars as possible by playing the game right. The hard part is figuring out the rules. Because a lot of people don't know and they still get paid a lot of money

First of all, ignore Jim Cramer!! Stay as far away from him as possible. The little bits of truth he speaks are not worth wading through the coin tosses, just stay away. Next, when you're trying to figure out which stocks to buy, forget ab

I think I know what you mean. When I read it, I got the same impression. It's not ignorance, because what the post is saying is true. LAMP does do all those things and it is very smart in many ways. But the things listed are equivalently t

There must be something about a language that helps it map to our brains. The creators of the language must be "like" its users in some way for the language to make sense. Or perhaps it's the language that is the mapping between the way th

Exactly what has PHP won? Most IT jobs aren't looking for PHP programmers. They don't make the most money. The most impressive websites are not built in PHP. PHP programmers don't have the most 'skills' so to speak. They aren't the smarte
