I don't know because I've never taken a one day prepaid card, but had I been visiting India as a foreigner I'd just buy a local prepaid card for a month considering it's so cheap.

Wow. 1.95 euros a day for the non-ad version? In India (where I live) I pay less than 3 euros a month for a 1.5GB everyday 5G connection and unlimited nationwide calls. So it's definitely not a "fair local rate" as they c

Tried Zed some time back, the performance was pretty good as compared to VS Code, though gave up when they chose to implement other fancy / collaborative features before implementing the most basic requirement from an 'editor'

While I understand your argument about IE6 which was shipped with Windows, Chrome didn't have that advantage for a long time - it's only now that Android phones and Chromebooks are shipped with it, but I don't know of a singl

But then again, everyone says Google is evil to have made their own browser, but most of the world is using it - one would guess they must have done some good things with it (so taking humanity forward in some capacity etc.). Some are eve

This always surprises me. While as an Indian I'm ashamed of the level of corruption we have in every government system of ours, at least it's still called corruption (and is illegal) what US calls lobbying (and is legal).

I don't understand. Youtube is not forcing you to watch their videos, and that they show ads is an information you are already aware of before watching them. So I don't understand how it is YouTube's "Entitlement".

No, it used to show me September '21 as well, but today it's showing January '22 for me on the free ChatGPT (GPT-3.5) version in India.

That's probably what they wanted too, but they couldn't as European regulation had mandated them to move to USB-C before 2024 gets over.

It's funny how they show USB-C as a giant leap forward while they were literally forced to use that port and were never interested in doing it otherwise. All that transfer speed bump they're now advertising with USB-C, would they

When I moved back to India from the US, I was pleasantly surprised how cheap and fast the internet here is (which should have been the characteristic of a developed nation like USA). I currently have a 300 Mbps home broadband, TV, Unlimited
