Just because you immediately clicked "yeah sure sell all my data so I don't have to pay" doesn't mean it's not paywalled, please be a little more discerning.

A lot of people (silently) disliked my opinion, interestingly.

I caught this in your GitHub changes and was about to submit it here. Great read, thanks :) P.S. I'm looking forward to finally getting into Zig soon, only recently saw that it actually supports vec3 type and arithmetic ops.

I actually wanted to suggest government funded online dating, so we aren't beholden to godawful Tinder and its clones (OkCupid was great for me until it got bought out and turned into Tinder).

Infamous means famous but for a bad reason, basically notorious. I've noticed a lot of people making this mistake recently, as well as people using ignorant to mean stupid. But I digress... Many of us have that mode 13h stuff memoris

I got your autograph in my notebook at EGSR (I think?) 2019, still a little sad I didn't have my PBRT full of autographs at that particular dinner! Next time ;)

I wonder if you can get a discount if you don't want to go back. Sounds like a great way to go out to me!

European view of the US is really starting to be like Polish/Ukrainian view of Russia (i.e., terrorist state), and I don't know how we'll stop feeling this way at this rate.

The nice thing about standards is, there are so many from which to choose! :)

I'm not sure I understand the "just generate it" perspective. If you want to generate a much higher sampling rate signal that has a common multiple of your input and output sampling rate, "just generating it" is go

Windows itself isn't guilty of this in my experience (lifetime of use until Linux switch last year), but other apps like shitty Akamai. Some years ago a coworker wrote this blog post and a simple tool to find out which programs are doi

You forgot the "App" :) I'm still astonished at how dumb that rebrand is...

I'm sure you mean Microsoft Copilot 365 App, not Office :D I can't get over how they torpedoed one of the most famous brands in the world... but that's kind of on brand for them now, self-sabotage.

Literally anything except answering the single, simple question... so we've had strawmanning, now whataboutism, which logical fallacy is next?

Thanks for answering my question and imploring me to drone some mantra (I counter with: everything is a system, my dog is a system), and I'll guess I have to wait for New Zealand to do some invading. sigh Nevermind, it's obvious

Okay, I was just curious because you were saying nice things about HN and there's a popular abbreviation IFL for I Fucking Love, so I had to wonder!
