The thing is, as these things come out, it turns paranoia into reality. I preferred being paranoid, rather than correct, myself. Maybe you are getting downvotes because you seem to be endorsing illegal activities by the federal authorities

What is the oath of office is for an attorney general? It can't be anything about upholding the constitution, obviously, otherwise Eric Holder would have been indicted already. Holder could go down as the worst AG in American history

Whether or not the court order is renewed will be secret, won't it? Isn't the whole point to make all the agency regulations secret? I mean, the original court order wasn't public, why would the renewal be?
