I can only tamper so many physical brakes in a given night. But being able to just disable all brakes of a given firmware revision at the push of a button? These are totally different scenarios.

Afaik, iOS does save a location, and marks it as a parked car, when it looses the bluetooth connection to a device it identified as being a car. So no additional hardware needed for this to work.

Same here, I had some of the most fun checking out potential investors in my last company. I'd certainly enjoy also checking Startups, but really just any sort of tech-related due-diligence would be awesome. Now, how to make a business

Another way to see why this is a problem: Let’s assume the police has only time to investigate 1 case. But there are two currently to be handled. One is a high profile drug dealer presumably flowing in cash, the other one is a homeless pote

Given the other comments about the inherent size variability in creating the actual clothing, no wonder anyone trying to measure the customer but not the cloths is riding a dead horse.

Isn’t the concept of „landlocked“ usually referring to your ability to do trade at scale with the rest of the world without being dependent on the goodwill of some other actor? Seems Minnesota would still depend on the goodwill of whoever c

Not much of a difference to recent new builds in Germany. Here it’s a function of the price for the plot. It’s so expensive that people will go with the smallest plot possible. Even nice upscale houses come with tiny lawns only today. See

So Japan can get a win out of the Crimea situation either way? If Russia „wins“ they could justify using force to free their „historic“ possession. And if Russia „looses“ they can argue having military control does not imply ownership. And

Could it be, that just for the potential of a malfunction or accident, it’s beneficial to have a human on board to handle such situations? And if that’s the case, the human might as well just drive the train while he’s waiting.
