Sorry, didn't mean this to be product advertisement, so I wanted to just link to the core code. The user-facing product is typescript and go and in different repositories. The backend is Rust and we jumped into the async/await tra

Maybe the website tells more? https://www.prisma.io/ Basically we offer a code generator for typescript, migrations and a query engine to simplify data workflows. Go support is coming next.

Of course it can. One of the best machines for making coffee is the Technivorm Moccamaster (the thermo pot version). It's been in the market for decades, lasts for decades, it's easy to clean and together with a good grinder and f

I'm running it in an LCX container on OpenWRT. Better to have an external disk connected for the container so the logging will not burn the internal storage too fast.

When I first played Super Mario Maker 2 with my 65" OLED TV, it was mind-blowing. Mario never looked this good. So much color, the graphics really pop off and help you with the platforming. Maybe it's not nostalgia, but actually j

Now being able to just dig into the lower level of Futures at work, I'd say even that is not that hard. You just write the `poll` function and then pattern match inside. There are even nice macros, such as the `ready!` that helps you w

tokio::spawn needs to be run from the context of tokio's executor. If you use some other executor, such as juliex, it will panic. This is hopefully solved by the Runtime crate and the crates using it will use a more generic version.

Do you have experience doing async ffi to other runtimes from Rust? Such as passing down futures from Rust to JavaScript or Java so you can use them from their context. I'd love to read a blog post about that subject...

Did you try to use an executor that can drive the new futures? The ability to use &self in an async context is so much nicer than playing around with Arc with things that really don't need one. Also very happy to not being forced t

std::future is stable. Async/await in about 12 weeks. Been writing loads of code, trying out the new futures and especially the possibility to use &self in an async context is a huge benefit. Beware though to use an executor that c

And the crazy thing is you also need strips at least, many of us pumps and CGMs because of being super sensitive to insulin. That is easily 100k per year even in Europe. And due to the mandatory insurance, not that much for the user.

And about 450€ per transmitter that lasts for three months. Using open source tools you can extend the sensor lifetime to 2-3 weeks and transmitter to 6-9 months and I advice to read on that and try tools like xDrip.
