People in Finland seem in general follow the rules quite nicely. I heard there was a rumor of free buckets in Herttoniemi shopping mall that caused quite a rush of people, but what my mom and friends say it's super quiet now. Comparing

In Finland the whole capital area has been isolated from last Friday. People over 60 are not allowed to go out. People are expected to stay home and from the pictures the busier central Helsinki has been dead quiet for over a week now. Nine

You basically need your own VPN server with Pi-hole installed to control the tracking. It is a very effective way to block this, but not that easy to setup.

The funny thing is I paid about the same from my rig that people pay for a Macbook Pro. It is not really unaffordable and you get a great development machine. Of course nowadays the combination of Emacs and rust-analyzer gives you a very fa

I solved this by building myself a 3950x workstation. 16 cores and 32 GB of RAM does miracles for Rust workflows. That and the guidance kouteiheika gave above puts you far already.

Same here. A year ago I got myself a X230 as a second laptop, and installed OpenBSD to it, testing NsCDE and the original CDE only to settle down to another installation of i3. It's a great laptop and OpenBSD is perfect for my use. I c

That's what I understood also. I've spent tremendous amount of time understanding my diabetes, and your comment here validated my assumption in the case of CoV. It's still quite scary to see how diabetics have a very high ris

Would be interesting to know how the level of your treatment to diabetes affects your chances to die. I'm type 1, A1c under 6% and I do constant exercise. Is it worse with bad control, I haven't found an answer yet.

I'm an old macOS user. I downsized what I need from a desktop and I'm very happy with my minimal setup. I'm not using scaling from sway/wayland, but I basically just use emacs, firefox and alacritty, so changing those ap

I'm using a 4k screen with my sway tiling desktop. Enlarge the fonts from alacritty and emacs, set fractional scaling to 1.5 from Firefox and you're done.
