David Bowie's best work was with Eno. You might want to check the album trilogy Low/Heroes/Lodger. And of course his massively influential ambient productions, or the band Talking Heads... Or his ambient experiments with Robe

If you were ever into prog rock while young, his band King Crimson basically defined the genre and later on moved it to different directions very succesfully.

I have a 3950x at home I now mainly use for work. I still have a workstation with 2970wx in the office, but I'm spending only 0-2 days of week there anymore. Haven't used laptops for years to do any programming.

I'm also having a 3950x for Rust work and it has been the fastest CPU I've ever used. It just flies every day and makes rust compilation times not an issue anymore. That means, I really don't know do I want to have the troubl

And at least in Germany, Berlin is full of these fixer shops that'll do a great job fixing your Mac. Usually in the neighborhoods with large arabic minorities.

What's interesting here is that it's only the US where Apple has the dominance. Everywhere else in the world it's mostly Android in the mobile phones. Edit: What I mean with this comment is that HN has lots of readers outside

I'm a type 1 diabetic and I get real time glucose information from a Dexcom CGM to my Garmin watch. This is extremely useful, but maybe we're a bit too small group to be counted as masses...

Used to do that with every phone I had, especially the Xiaomis due to them sending lots of tracking with the default install. The OnePlus 8 Pro is the first phone I feel doesn't need a custom ROM. It has some annoiying things such as F

I built my FreeNAS build into the Fractal Design Node 304. It fits six hard drives, and the computer fits into an IKEA shelf nicely.

Having a TR 2970WX at work with the same issue. You must just disable the lower C-states, freezing the machine when coming up from sleep. At home I've had a 3950x now for about six months and no such issues with the CPU at all. It just

I have a T25 with 32 GB of RAM and there's easily 16 GB too much in it. It's only 4 threads so using 32 GB at least as a programmer is a stretch. With 16 cores and 32 threads I'm able to use all 32 GB easily. I guess I should

As an asthmatic person, I hope this too. Berlin is quite bad on some streets, especially due to people's love for diesel cars. This also includes trucks and diesel buses.

Only if all your apps are running in wayland mode. If using x apps over xwayland, the scaling is quite blurry. That being said I'm using sway every day, but just tweak my font size accordingly.
