If you had an image taken by the satellite and the time the image was taken, then yes. Google maps doesn't make it obvious but not all satellite images are taken from directly overhead. Most are off angle, so by calculating the distanc

Different issues. Issue 1, Epipens cost $300 now instead of $50. Issue 2, Mylan was saying they were generics and getting $261 from the government when in reality, they were brand name and the government should have only been paying $231. T

Leafs are also dirt cheap on Craigslist. You can find 2 year old ones with <30k miles for $7000 in some cities.

Actually if it is in a Roth IRA, you can withdraw all of the principal (but none of the gains) at any time, for any reason, tax and penalty free.

Bitcoin is by definition depreciating. Precious metals have very little utility and are only used as stores of value. They can not generate dividends and are therefore likely to under perform in the very long term: http://www.bus

I hate it that they equate "how much you have in your savings account" with "how good you are at saving money." Even if you ignore retirement savings, what about Checking accounts? What about Roth IRAs that can have all

Serious question, when you're accumulating more assets and haven't retired yet, why is it a problem to never sell?

The gist of the backdoor Roth is that you make a traditional contribution and then roll it over into a Roth before tax season. There is no income limit on roll-overs and you aren't taking the benefit of a traditional IRA at tax time so

In reply to jazzyk, very few community colleges require that and even if you don't include those, most state schools will waive that requirement if you are over a certain age I.e. you went back to school.

Colorado you can do two years in community college for less than $6k per year and then two years at a state school for just over $6k per year if you don't count room and board which you'd have to pay anyway.

The problem I see with this is latency. Round trip time for a laptop on wifi (this will need a wireless connection to the vehicle) could get up to 200ms at times. At 60mph the car will be 17 feet from where the operator's screen shows

Shop around for credit cards more often. You can find deals where they will pay you $400 just for using their card for 3 months. A pair of southwest cards timed to get a companion pass can be worth close to $4000 if you do it right.
