Where do you think these deaths come from? Do you think the health services in Sweden were overwhelmed?

People work in offices and go to shops in Scandinavia too. Maybe compare to the dozens of US states with lower population density than Sweden?

We’re talking about Germany and France. Right across the water. Sweden had lower deaths in earlier years than their neighboring countries and this was a reversion to the mean. Speaking as a Norwegian people in this country like to look smar

Should non vaccinated still be paying taxes for treatment they can’t use? If I didn’t have to pay for you grandmas hospital stay I would gladly agree.

Sure, but not to the exclusion of heating different things. Which I understand to be the point of the CICO hypothesis, that the type of food doesn't matter if you only care about weight loss. See the Twinkie diet for example.

It works but both CI and CO are affected by what you eat, so it’s an uninteresting factoid. It’s usually used to tell people they need to eat less and move more to the exclusion of food choice which hasn’t been very successful in long term

Some foods affect appetite differently than others. This can lead to decreased calorie intake without increased effort/suffering.

Well you see, to be critical of a paradigm, for example modern monetary theory, you have to have a PhD in that paradigm. That’s why you can’t say that god doesn’t exist unless you’re a priest or a theologian. Makes sense to me

There is some newish research that suggests that tinnitus can be treated by lowering chronic inflammation. This worked in my personal experience. Going low carb weakened my admittedly moderate tinnitus to below where I rarely notice it anym

I guess I misunderstood. Both being obese and being unvaccinated are risk factors for ending up in the ICU due to Covid. One is morally reprehensible according to some people and the other isn’t. I think we should accept both or none.

Diabetes and obesity is a risk factor in almost every ailment including cancer and heart disease, not to mention Covid itself. Of course it contributes to filling up ICUs.

But it does fill up ICU beds. The vaccines are not very effective at stopping spread of the delta variant so the metaphor still holds.

I don’t understand your last sentence. Get rid of cows and then give people what? I also think vegetables are very energy inefficient compared to for example potatoes. Not sure how we can defend growing anything with such a minuscule calori

Same here. I never tolerated legumes well, and cutting all plants and especially ones containing fiber cured my IBS and got rid of my chronic inflammation. For anyone curious Paul Mason has a few talks about fiber.
