   Interesting write up! Hope this can incentivize python/r users to give Julia a try. I'd be curious to see if there is any progress on the matlab interoperability as well (my field is mostly matlab).

   Very nice write up! I haven't tried doing web apps in Julia since Escher ( https://github.com/shashi/Escher.jl ) but this new framework seems interesting.

   Nice to see this "debunking". I was especially bothered by the analysis of performance, focusing so much on start up time (which btw has vastly improved since). It's hard to remember if some of the concerns raised were valid
