It is the most infuriating thing when I'm in a hurry and know what to click. Windows itself doesn't do this much, but, do websites love it. I bet its called hydration or something, that causes the layout shift.

I experienced 3°F in the subtropics and it is probably about 100°F outside right now. Average winter temps of 35° with only 1-7 days of actual frost, usually around christmas. (Dec 25(December 25))

The cost is too high. You can't have mph and kmh signs on the same road. So you gotta switch all the signs at once. Mile markers, exit numbers (are miles), distance to signs, all have to change. I did the math on a comment elsewhere. J
