Is there any feature there that is unique enough you can't use AWS or GCP? I use GCP for all my DNS needs and it's very very cheap.

Mailing list with both parents as recipients? All my generic house stuff goes to a utilities@ alias that goes to my spouse and I. Works great.

Same goes for plane parts and other export-restricted things. Not sure Nvidia can do anything about it.

I have a 34" from LG, but I absolutely CANNOT recommend the brand. It's been unreliable, and is currently being repaired after the panel died on me. However, when it worked, it was an absolute game changer. I have a feeling they m

Ultrawide 5K2K is a great sweet spot, at least for what I do, which includes a bit of everything. I never liked dual monitors with a split in the middle. Ultrawides solve that.

Really timely, I'm currently writing Arduino code to get my bus departure times displayed on a cheap TFT screen. There's so many projects around this, but it's the first time I see it on a Kindle. Awesome!

I have a USB-C soldering iron that works with most power-banks. Does a better job than my old corded soldering station. I like the repairability of the iFixit one, but for $35, mine is hard to beat...

For power tools at least they're mostly if not all 18v these days. You can get adapters to use tools from brand A with batteries from brand B. Works great in a pinch, but I'd certainly prefer an open standard.

Business or Personal, do not ever rely on a single bank. Ever. Have a backup, ideally far enough from your "main" bank that any issue doesn't bleed over.
