I'm not saying I think the random jerk on Twitter is a Russian troll. Though random jerks on Twitter don't hesitate to label me as one. The reason I put "troll" in quotes is because in this sense it is a generic term for

Option 3: I just want to see my friends and family on my feed. It's sometimes hard to tell what else is reliable or not, but I don't want Facebook curating my life.

How did you get that from the article? Seems like the point was Facebook wasn't trying to get rid of Russian agents on it's site as much as it was trying to bolster it's image. I think most of us have experienced the Russian

Interestingly, there is a belief in military pilot communities that pilots will have far fewer boys than girls. Two close relatives of mine are military pilots, and my observations have confirmed this. From individual families we know, to o

I'm sorry, unrelated, but where do I get $5 clothing delivered to my doorstep (USA). I am not aware of this and I hate clothes shopping, sounds like something I could use.

I didn't say the hostility wasn't real. It doesn't matter why someone is pointing a gun at you when it happens. I was explaining my theory as to why they are bad neighbors.

In my opinion, the little nugget of truth here is that the focus of the Chinese government has almost always been inward, and not outward, and definitely has been for the last several generations. Their greatest threat is not the US or anyo

I'm kind of thinking both the US and now China got there because of economics. At the end of WW2 US GDP was something like 50% of the entire world GDP. Most nations would be happy to do whatever they even thought the US wanted to have

I hear this a lot, but you can do the same thing in the US with a much higher salary. I have taken 4 to 5 weeks off in a year, plus two weeks of national holidays, with no pay cut at all. You can negotiate for more. US companies will pay fo

And still, many doctors even in Connecticut where it was first detected won't provide the antibiotics for it until you have a positive test, and the tests are unreliable. This is a real tragedy.

It boggles my mind that salaries can be so much lower in parts of Europe, while expenses are about the same as the US. Of course if you are living in New York City or San Francisco area expenses are higher, but most places they are not.

Yea that's a really good point. The best way for Amazon to deal with the problem is to curate the reviewers, not the reviews, in my opinion.
