Leave that group ASAP. Things will never get better. Your group is proving to the company that they can deliver without extra resources.

One of the things that has consistently shocked me as I've gotten older is how hard some companies make it for people to actually give them money! I'm like, "Hey - I'm waving these hundred dollar bills here for you to t

Outside of my day job I've got the following: 1. Old boat (1993) - which always wants/needs something. Currently about to rebuild the 350 V8 and switch from carb to EFI. 2. House - slowly just remodeling with a mix of my own DIY

I would say unless you're building a directly competing product then don't worry about it. Most companies aren't going to spend the time/effort to go after an employee who built a side project and then left for it. Thi

I believe the fire risk can be mitigated through better building codes. Florida solved this problem years ago. California is just stubborn. Sea level rise I think is much more problematic. Houston has had three "500 year" floo

This is a good point I forgot to expand upon. The EDA (Electronic Design Automation) industry is a hugely import symbiotic relationship to the chip industry at this point. The two sort of go back and forth driving each other forward.
