I do not understand my coworkers who spend 8 hours a day typing on a shitty membrane keyboard. It's they job and their main interface to the computer and they are totally oblivious to it. They also use no shortcuts at all. I've se

I keep reading this on HN so I believe it has to be true in some ways, but I don't really feel like there is any difference in my limited use (programming questions or explaining some concepts). If anything I feel like it's all be

Seems like you wrote your text, asked chatGPT to rephrase it, pasted the new version and forgot to remove the previous one. Looks like you used ChatGPT to rephrase your text but forgot to delete the original version.

I really like the fact that it's using the previous user birthdays. Unfortunately today is my birthday and I think a lot of people are entering today's date as their birthday, I got 6 matches... :)

Except we're living in a world where it wouldn't be that surprising, especially after reading this post. Good idea of a joke but bad execution.

It might be your unconscious deciding that it's not worth doing? Posting things online is rather useless and often brings more negatives than positives.

For me, I'm not overweight at all (quite the opposite, actually), but I'm totally addicted to sugar. To the point that food other than carbs/sugar is really uninteresting to me. Doesn't help that I don't like meat.

Every time I have to use React, I'm astounded at how convoluted web app development still is in 2024. Am I out of touch or is it really that bad?

From what I read on their website, it's mostly used to "improve twitter". That doesn't sound very productive to me. I love using LLMs and they do improve my productivity, but they also use a ton of power that is currentl

I'm so glad it doesn't. There is absolutely no need for it and when it's used it usually makes a big mess. It goes in the same pile as multiple inheritance.

You have a very limited view on what being productive is. I have a home lab, I'd rather spend an hour or two improving it and learning things along the way rather than playing factorio.
