Yep third-party components would be good. As would some sort of "worker" component for processing jobs from pubsub.

Genuinely curious, how is Facebook the only way you have to contact friends and family? Do you not have their email addresses or phone numbers? Or even physical addresses? What if you get locked out of your Facebook account?

I used to use Git Legit: https://frostming.github.io/legit/ But the official addition of git switch conflicted with their git switch (which is better as it auto-stashes changes before switching). Legit also had the is

Honestly I've noticed the opposite. The pot smokers I've known (which there have been many) have been some of the coolest people. They've been very friendly and giving, and definitely not arrogant or self-important. Maybe

Why do you think those tools are poorly maintained? How do you handle locking in specific versions of libraries and keeping those properly maintained?

What type of growth are you looking for? You say you are happy with your work and team, but you're also here asking for something more. What do you feel is missing? Also, what hobbies do you have? Perhaps you need to find something f

There could definitely be other concerns too. Such as security. It'd be much easier for someone to copy a code base, or get evidence of wrongdoing by your employer, or whatever, when at home rather than in an office. It's also

I hope you see the irony in this. Many of your comments, including this one I'm replying to, have "I think ..." which is really just speculation. I mean, you say "It is the exact same process which reinforces beliefs in

Many comments in this thread are speculation/conjecture, I was honest enough to label mine as such. We're not running studies or experiments here, this is a place to converse. My comment allows others to provide additional eviden

Before the pandemic FANGs seemed to want everyone in the office as much as possible. That's why they have their own cafeterias/restaurants, daycare, workout rooms, etc. They wanted employees in the office, working a minimum of 4

I used to work for a company that did this, but it was supposedly covered by their client sites' TOS. The client site would install our tag, and our JS code would listen for emails to be entered, and would send them to our backend to

Hah, I've been saying the same thing for years. It bothered me even more so because I was a Perl programmer and everyone kept saying how messy Perl code is. But they want JS on the backend?!

It's nuts. I used to live in a major city, 10 minutes from downtown, and the only high speed internet I could get was Spectrum cable internet. I recently moved to a rural, mountain area in the same state and there is a small ISP that

I would guess nutritional value depends on what nutrients are fed to the fish (or the cells). The big benefit IMO is it shouldn't contain any mercury or other heavy metals that are present in some fish.

I would suggest putting the description of what PMS is at the top of the page rather than the very bottom. My pet peeve is homepages of products that don't actually tell what the product is in concise terms. This looks like a great p

Even when I use git by myself, I like to use branches. This helps me keep my work separate, and avoids issues if I'm working on one thing but need to do a quick fix elsewhere. I also tend to have anything in master set to go to live,
