   At a minimum, readable variables would have simplified identifying the issue after it was introduced.

   I suppose it's because a proof is contained within itself while a computer program may interact (in this case with another component within the same application) in non-obvious ways. Clarity in variable names helps to prevent this beha

   I believe he is referring to a web-mail service hosted by a third-party having inherent insecurity. With mailpile, you run the service on your own system.
