This is one of the scripting languages used in the Source Engine. I believe the first game that supported it was Left 4 Dead 2, it was certainly the first time I heard of it. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/VSc

Not sure if it'll be much help, but you might be able to find and scrape data from here: http://data.gov.uk/data/search to do something similar for the UK, I can't seem to find it though.

Very interesting read, what's even more interesting to me is that the place this article focused on is only around 10/15 minutes from where I live and I had absolutely no idea this had ever happened!

Minor nitpick, but isn't that Firefox, not Chromium in the screenshot of the web browser overlaying emacs, right after mentioning that he uses Chromium instead of Firefox because it requires a "real" window manager? Regardles

I believe it used to be quite useful when your only option to read PDFs was Acrobat which was slow and would often lock up your browser while the plugin loaded. Now that both Firefox and Chrome include built in PDF readers and we've al

I managed to get this when downloading Firefox Aurora over the weekend while reinstalling my OS. I wasn't expecting the dark UI when I opened it. I personally found it a little garish and I couldn't immediately see a way to turn i

Exactly this. It's a really great idea but a delay of just a few hundred milliseconds is enough to make even someone who uses the oculus rift frequently feel motion sick. Viewing static images in (for example: loading screens in games)

It appears to be a pretty serious issue. The SQL injection alone is bad but the ability to run basically any PHP code through callbacks makes the problem that much worse.

That sort of syntax reminds me of Objective C's key paths. [object valueForKeyPath:@"them.public_keys.primary.bundle"]; which is part of the larger, more in depth, Key-Value coding interface. It was definitely somethin

I'm curious how you get around normally being able to only run one instance of the iOS simulator at a time? Having a load of OS X machines for each individual stream or even virtualised hosts cannot be the case surely? Either way it&#x
