It uses Electron (the embedded Chrome wrapper) just like Atom does, but as far as I'm aware they dont share anything else that actually makes them an editor.

I believe links don’t directly count towards the character limit anymore, along with any mentions. I might be wrong but I believe for a time (maybe still?) only the automatically shortened URL length (t.co URLs) counts

The HTML idea is neat, but something to bear in mind unless you host this content on a separate domain/subdomain (think githubusercontent.com vs github.com) any Javascript embedded in that HTML will be able to read/write cookies,

Ah yes, you're right. Totally mis-read the code. It'd still leave access to any files in the same (or sub) directory starting with http, which realistically would probably be none but still something to bear in mind.

If thats the only validation on calls to file_get_contents, that could very easily be bypassed. Entering something like just "/etc/passwd" for example.

Valve's Chet Faliszek has said pretty clearly in the past that Half Life 3 won't be a VR game, and I think that's pretty realistic. First person action based shooters don't translate well into VR. Any kind of locomotion

Installed this earlier today, only thing thats worrying me so far is that it seems to wake up my phone (to the point it asks for the passcode) every now and then. Not really a fan of that happening all the time as I can see it draining the

It's worth noting on top of what others have said, Gmail (and assume most others too) will only display the unsubscribe button from whitelisted mail servers, as far as I'm aware. The reasoning being that it could be used by spamme

There's probably a better way of doing it, but this should check all your public keys if you use more than one, assuming they're in ~/.ssh for file in $(ls ~/.ssh/*.pub); do ssh-keygen -lf $file; done
