But who guarantees me that a tattoo artist would actually be able to draw these suggestions? Isn't that usually something you have to work out with the artist beforehand?

I don't find that surprising, as LLMs typically predict the next token in a string of tokens not the previous. Just because we, as humans, have the knowledge that "is" can be a symmetric relation does not imply that LLMs have

I am surprised that anybody is surprised about this. LLMs don't even understand relations and even if they did: Why would they assume that relations are symmetric? It would be incorrect to do so for the general case anyways.

I totally see that. That has also been the main argument from some of my friends in academia. Mainly, the question of "Is LaTeX Worth It?" is aimed at the fact that it _has_ become the default option in some academic disciplines.
