Sounds like you might like Vue. It has directives for HTML which I like better than using JSX and it has a composition style now that I like better than React's hooks. https://v3.vuejs.org/guide/composition-api-set

It looks like a fun project. However, I like a more subdued and less "pimped" look. I am a fan of https://shields.io/ , e.g. my github profile: https://github.com/phaedryx/

It seems clear that the worse the documentation for a language is, the more a programmer will make searches. Not a linear relation, but it is common sense. It seems clear that the harder a language is to understand, the more a programmer wi

Remember folks, the Tiobe Index is a ranking of how many web searches are being done for a language. The farther you get from that metric the more you are speculating.

I am simultaneously in awe of the tech that it would take to pull this off and in complete revulsion at what was done. It was interesting when I was in college to see which degrees required ethics classes and which ones didn't. Compute

The way it has been proposed in my city is that they will build out the fiber and let the ISP's compete for my business with services and price. It sounds good to me and doesn't sound like they are trying to exert a lot of "c

I worked with a member of the Dozenal Society of America. He taught me that pandas have 6 digits on each paw, which is why the panda is their mascot and why almost all panda merchandise is wrong.

I think you're moving the goalposts. Of course Unity can work "just fine" for things like Cuphead. However, DragonRuby is an mRuby wrapper around SDL by the guy who wrote SDL vs. a 3D engine that was reworked into a 2D engine

I suspect that DragonRuby is faster as a 2D game engine and doesn't make sense for a complex 3D game.

As I understand it, work on DragonRuby is foundational for converting RubyMotion into a better, cross-platform mobile toolkit. http://www.rubymotion.com/news/2019/04/19/plans-for-rubymoti...

I don't see this mentioned on the website, but, if I remember correctly, they also have materials for teaching kids how to code. I was thinking about running something at my son's school last year before Covid shut everything down

I was a fan of MobX+React until I to a look a Vue when version 3 came out. Now I'm a Vue fan and what I was doing before feels like overkill.

I believe that GraphQL handles this with "persisted queries." Basically, you ask the server to "run standard query 'queryname'." Since it is a standard, predefined query you can cache the results. Apollo suppor

From my experience, cows need to be milked pretty early in the morning (e.g. 5:00am for my friends); early enough that it will always be before school regardless.

I grew up around farms and farmers. I never understood how DST was supposed to benefit them. The farm animals can't read a clock, they just follow their circadian rhythms and the farmers follow suit.
