Ah, I see where your number comes from. However, those deviations should happen in both senses (adding and subtracting)? But thanks for the computations!

Honestly: this is ridiculous coming from a firm using ECB mode for encryption and deeming it “won’t fix”.

It is because they are always very energetic. This, together with random quantum behavior, allows the “energetic-muon” to decay (not decompose) into different particles (usually electron etc.). This is a quantum effect, and it is not a deco

It sounds as if the author recorded an interview, did not understand much but inserted what he or she deemed interesting. I cannot parse that text either.

I guess it is the same as… Mickey mouse. I do not think anyone other than Disney could use a mouse named Mickey as a character and not expect to be sued.

Are they? I thought there was always a kind of “random parameter” or random step midway? Hope this question is not too dumb!

I guess he was thinking of arithmetic. In any case, any model which includes infinity (and Peano arithmetic already does) is pure convention and unconsciously assumes a lot of things. Finitary induction may make sense as something "uni

This is exactly why Torvalds is so radical on not regressing: it is costly for him (I am sure there are many things hr would have done differently now) but ensures the users’ security.

Complex measures are a thing in mathematics since… well, possibly since measure theory was. The thing is expressing this in a way which is understandable by a physicist (measure spaces are not exactly “simple”). https://web2.ph.u
