As opposed to inaccessible parking it is very clear: you can reach it. The fact that a handicapped person cannot reach it seems irrelevant. Totally bonkers.

It is totally unbelievable how many “vice-presidents” a company can have. It distorts the meaning of the word to the point that it really is not vice in any way. Much less president…

I do not want the government or the bank to know that I am buying a motorbike, a car, a washing machine or ten dozen frying pans. Just that. If the bank knows, the government does.

Work is not production or service by itself. This is something we all tend to forget. A bonsai is as much work as shining shoes.

You cannot trust nature any more to write non-sensationalist titles. Unbelievable but true.

All the text in the post reads like an easy exercise in linguistics. I would not be surprised if there are hundreds of these in the training texts.

All of us tend to forget that each year there is a whole cohort of people getting a new phone and using fb, instagram, twitter, whatever for the first time.

Ordinary people tend to not do very well with the Stokes formula. Much less with infinite sums (which is essentially what Feynman. diagrams are for). Lots of geniuses are unaware of the difference between their intelligence and other people
